From Strength to Strength
Inaugural NDS/DPV Conference of the Year
Tuesday 2 – Wed 3 March 2010
The Sebel, Albert Park, Victoria
For the first time National Disability Services Victoria (NDSV) and Disability Professionals Victoria (DPV) are partnering to hold the largest annual Victorian conference for disability organisations and professionals in 2010.
The two-day conference From Strength to Strength will showcase how future-focussed organisations and leaders are adapting to the constantly changing environment.
NDSV Chairman Richard Dent and DPV Chairman Dr David Sykes believe the joint conference is not to be missed, providing a great opportunity for networking across the disability sector.
“We wanted to work on one annual conference for Victoria for 2010 as it pulls people from across the sector together to focus on leadership, sustainability and preparing for the future,” says Richard Dent, NDSV Chairman.
DPV’s Chair Dr David Sykes commented: “Hosting a Conference with NDS reflects a further maturing of the sector. It will provide a unique opportunity to highlight the capacity of disability professionals and disability organisations to continue to deliver quality outcomes for people with a disability. This builds on the continued success of DPV conferences over the past five years.”
Conference delegates will hear from a great line-up of speakers who will challenge, motivate and inspire. Some will paint the ‘big picture’ on opportunities and challenges facing the disability sector. Other presentations will look at developing ourselves as professionals in order to meet these opportunities and challenges.
Get to meet your colleagues, relax and unwind at the Conference cocktail party and dinner.
This conference will have something for everyone.
Mark these dates in your diary as you don’t want to miss this event.
